Intellectual Disabilities Society is now hiring Residential Care Workers for Part time and Weekends positions in the North Vancouver, BC area! Join one of our amazing teams today as a Support Worker/Residential Care Worker! We’re looking for unique people who want to make a difference in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.
We support people by providing the care they need to feel safe and enjoy physical and emotional well-being. Our amazing team of Residential Care Workers supports clients with disabilities through all their daily living activities.
This includes personal care, meal Prep, transportation, medication administration, management, housekeeping, and participating in activities around the house. Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Obtain reliable transportation to and from work, as well as valid driver’s license.
- Must possess good communication skills, as well as basic computer skills.
- Passion for caregiving and patient safety.
- Commitment to professional development and growth within the field. Caring attitude and warm personality.
Requirements:
- Tuberculosis screening Medical clearance (we will provide the form to you)
- Emergency or Standard First Aid with CPR/AED training
- Criminal Record Check
- must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
License/Certification: BC’s Class 5 or Class 4 driving License (required)
