IDS Housing

IDS Housing supports 48 people living with intellectual disabilities in 10 houses in North Vancouver. 4 to 5 people live together in each house as roommates.

Qualified staff provide the support needed by each person to live a meaningful, full life and be included in their community. Individuals have jobs, volunteer, attend day programs and participate in local groups.

Each individual plans their short- and long-term goals with the support of the people they choose – friends, family and staff; then work together to put their plans into action. The goals and plans are as diverse as each person.
