In a constantly changing environment, having life skills is an essential part of being able to negotiate the challenges of everyday life and leads to increased independence at home and in the community. We support people who live with their families in addition to those living independently to learn day-to-day tasks that assist them in becoming more self-sufficient.
They may choose to learn or improve their skills in areas such as banking, financial management, budgeting, grocery shopping, meal preparation, community safety, home maintenance, and more.
