ABOUT SNOEZELEN ROOMS:

The Snoezelen Room offers a relaxing environment to encourage sensory sensitization. In the Snoezelen room, stimuli are introduced in a comfortable and safe environment, which is conducive to self-regulation. Caregivers/support providers can control the level of stimulation for the user and help reduce over-stimulation from common triggers in the environment. Individuals can explore and relax in an environment where there is no pressure; they can achieve and experience sensory stimulation at their own pace.
